This interview with American producer Aaron Russo by journalist Alex Jones remains for me the gold standard concerning the manipulation of the masses and general awareness raising.
This was Aaron Russo’s last interview, he died six months later at the age of 64.
By the summer of 2007, Aaron Russo was already undergoing treatment for cancer and knew that he didn’t have long to live. He decided to speak out on a radio station with nationwide coverage. An equivalent television channel would probably not have allowed him to speak in this way.
Clearly, this is not a man seeking attention, who has something to sell or a new sensational film to launch. He simply knows he is doomed and decides to tell it all. He makes some startling revelations about the confidences that Nicholas Rockefeller, a member of the famous and wealthy American banking family, allegedly told him. He talks about the attacks of September 11, 2001, to which Nick had hinted months before it happened, about the war on terrorism, the CFR, the sham of feminism, the subcutaneous RFID chip for a society of hypercontrol, as well as the reduction of the world’s population (by two)…etc.
Those close to Russo would later confirm the friendly intimacy that had existed between the two by providing the photo of both of them below.
This producer was based in Hollywood. He championed a cinema that denounced the nation’s and the world’s ruling elite, as well as the Federal Reserve, a private entity. His last documentary “America…From Freedom To Fascism”, released in 2006, was devoted to the latter subject. In it, he denounces the American policy on federal income tax, on the federal banking system… Since the Fed was created, American policy has led to an ever increasing restriction of the rights of American citizens, especially with the implementation of new laws since 9/11, and the creation of the new ID card. Very much involved in American politics, he ran for governor of Nevada in 1998 under a Republican ticket, finishing second with almost 30% of the votes. A prominent member of the American Libertarian Party, he was a candidate for that party in the 2004 presidential primaries. He also acted as producer for such actors as Eddie Murphy and Dan Ackroyd in the masterpiece “Trading Places”.
This interview from 2007 has never been more relevant to what we are going through.
When I listen to this man, I feel like I’m hearing exactly what my ex-boyfriend Jason was telling me in 2017 or 2018 about what was coming, much of his family and himself having worked for the CIA, as I explained in my introduction. Despite all that he was, he had this almost permanent good humour and keenness that I also feel in this interview, which was to tell what he knew was inevitable. At the time, I only listened to him distractedly, because I wasn’t really interested, but my brain recorded everything he said and also everything I saw.

“I met Rockefeller through a lawyer I knew. One day she called me and said, ‘One of the Rockefellers would like to meet you.’ I had just made Mad as Hell. Rockefeller had seen it and wanted to meet me. He knew I was running for governor of Nevada. I accepted, of course! I liked him right away. He is a very intelligent man. We discussed our ideas, our thoughts. He told me, eleven months before 9/11, that something was going to happen, but he never told me what. And that from that event we were going to invade Afghanistan to build pipelines from the Caspian Sea. Then that we would invade Iraq to take the oil fields and establish a base in the Middle East to integrate that region into the new world order. And then that we would go and deal with Chavez in Venezuela. And then there was 9/11… He was telling me that we would see soldiers searching caves in Pakistan, Afghanistan and so on, looking for individuals, that there would be this anti-terrorist war where there is no real enemy, and that it would all be a big hoax for the government to control Americans.
He said, “It’s going to be a war on terror” and he was laughing! Who are we fighting? Why do you think we had 9/11 and since then… nothing?! Do you really think that our security here in the United States is so great that those who carried out 9/11 are not capable of bringing down another plane? Come on, that’s ridiculous! 9/11 was the work of our own government and our own banking system to instill fear in Americans, so that the population would then slavishly obey the government. 9/11 was also intended to start this endless war on terror. That was the first lie. The next lie was to go into Iraq to dislodge Saddam Husseim and his so-called ‘weapons of mass destruction’.
No enemy, no winner… the conflict can go on forever! They do what they want! They have scared the hell out of the Americans. Look, this whole anti-terrorist war is a fraud, a FARCE! People have been intimidated into not talking. And if you dare to talk about it, they make you look like a fool. But the truth must be known and that’s why I’m talking to you. The fact is that this whole war on terror is a fraud. Yes, there is a war in Iraq. Because we invaded Iraq. And people are fighting there, and they’re really fighting! But the war on terror… it’s a joke! 9/11 is the starting point of the war on terror, what allowed it to begin. And until we find out what really happened on 9/11, and especially who was responsible, until we get to the bottom of it, we will never know anything about the war on terror.
He told me about business investment and how to get involved. He told me that they were willing to help me. He asked me if I wanted to join the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), and assured me that he would get me in. So many tricks to encourage me and to bait me. But I never got hooked because it wasn’t my idea. I used to say to him, “I like you a lot, Nick, but we’re not on the same side. I’m not interested in enslaving people.” He would say, “But why do you care about these people? What do you care? Take care of your life and your family. The others are insignificant, they are just serfs, people!” He showed great detachment and that didn’t suit me. It was… cold. I said, “You have all the money you want, all the power you want, what’s the point of all this?”
And he said, “The ultimate goal is that everyone is chipped, that we control the whole society, that the bankers and a handful of governors run the world.”
I asked him if they all thought like that at the CFR. And he said: “No, most of them are convinced they are doing the right thing! They are all more or less socialists.”
You have to make people understand that socialism is capitalism and that America has become socialist-communist.
One night we were both at my house talking and Rockefeller laughed, “What do you think, Aaron, is the liberation of women about?” At that time I had some preconceived notions about it: women being able to work and claim equal pay, the right to vote etc. He laughed: “You’re an idiot. I’ll tell you what it is. It was us, the Rockefellers, who funded women’s lib. It was the Rockefeller Foundation that put it in the newspapers and on television. And this was for two reasons: before women’s lib, only half the population could be taxed… men! And the second point is that now we can educate children earlier and influence their thinking, which will break up their families. Kids will see the state, school and officials as their family, not their parents.”
These are the two main reasons for women’s lib, which until then I thought was a noble venture. When I realised the motives, I saw the evil behind it.
Nicholas Rockefeller laughed, it was cynical: “People are so stupid, we can do anything we want!”
